About e-HIMS

Started as a spin-out of Ismar Healthcare in 2010, e-HIMS’ mission is to address the (future) unmet needs of learners and teachers in relation to independent Continuous Medical Education (CME).

Therefore e-HIMS wants to develop, in partnership with healthcare professional communities, learning products targeting the efficient adoption of appropriate clinical reasoning and decision making.

We aim at marketing learning products providing the highest level of teacher and learner satisfaction.

We recently launched our first Premium specialist CME programs under the brand name of Mirrors of Medicine ( ).

Our offices are based in Lier.

Job description

You will elaborate the marketing strategy for growing and engaging the community of users from our Mirrors of medicine educational programs, be in charge of its implementation and of the measure of its effects.

You will define the different segments for our learning products and develop appropriate market communications and positioning per segment.

You will explore teacher and learner experiences with our marketed and prototype learning products in order to refine product development and marketing strategy.

You will be instrumental in refining our business model(s) per segment.

You will develop teacher and learner relation management tools and work directly with our external professional network of technical suppliers.

You will be responsible for providing CME coordinators with the necessary marketing messages, planning and tools to enable them to support the promotion of our learning products.

You will collaborate in a matrix organisation with the Director of research & development, the European Director of sales and the US Director of sales.

You will report directly to the Managing Director.


You have:

  • A master degree in marketing or education sciences complemented with a marketing degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of the organisation and marketing of educational products towards professionals, ideally healthcare professionals.
  • (High level) Knowledge of the global healthcare educational environment (certification, accreditation, legislation…).
  • Experience in online marketing and community building
  • Affinity with the concept of lean software development

You speak and write fluently in English and have excellent presentation skills.

You worked at least 3-5 years in a (preferably international) position responsible for marketing of (on-line) learning products towards professionals.
